On behalf of the men and women of the Wood-Ridge Police Department, I would like to welcome you to the Wood-Ridge Police Department’s World Wide Web site.

A tradition of professional, efficient, and courteous service to the community has been the hallmark of the Wood-Ridge Police Department since its inception in 1918. With the implementation of the Department’s Web site, we hope to enhance the public’s knowledge of the police department’s operations and to make the department a more open and accessible entity.

We invite you to browse through all of the police department’s divisions, read through the frequently asked questions and see our special programs section in an effort to acquaint yourself with your police department. We plan on constantly updating and improving this site, so please visit us often. We hope in the near future to provide you with the opportunity to communicate with the many divisions of the department, or me, using e-mail. Please feel free to express any questions or concerns you may have.

As we move into the twenty-first century, the Wood-Ridge Police Department, while not forgetting the traditions of the past, is taking innovative strides in technology to stay current with the concerns of the community it serves.
